Exploring Hogsback (Ciskei), Eastern Cape, as a child, was the beginning of my love affair with mushrooms.  I never picked them because there are also many poisonous mushrooms with their bright red skin and white polka dots but finding a circle of mushrooms in the forest held great joy for me as I imagined the mystical creatures that dwelled there.   This Edible Mushroom set of stamps from the Ciskei, honours the mushroom as a foraged source of food for all.
